There is a difference between suffering and adversity. There are natural ways of dealing with adversity. How well do you deal with adversity?
Three kinds of people:
- Quitters - abandons the climb
- Campers - climbs to a point and dwells on the plateau
- Climbers - know today's efforts yield tomorrow's harvest
Success as defined by John Maxwell:
- Knowing your purpose
- Growing to your maximum potential
- Achieving your purpose in life

- C - Control: less control you perceive the more likely you are to quit or camp.
- O2
- Origin - of adversity. If you blame yourself too much - not good.
- Ownership - accountability; pushing accountability is not good.
- R - Reach: How far does the adversity reach into your life?

- E - Endurance: How long will the adversity last? Howlong will the cause of adversity last?
LEAD
- L - listen to your own adversity response.
- E - explore all of the origins and your own ownership of the results.
- A - analyze the evidence.
- D - Do Something!

Where to we need to be leadto? Jesus is the higher rock. Jesus said to carry the cross and move up the mountain.
